ASAP Rocky wore a miniature work of art to fit the “Costume Art” theme at the 2026 Met Gala earlier this week.
After attending Met Gala with his longtime partner Rihanna on Monday (May 4) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Don’t Be Dumb artist wore a custom Chanel suit, to the afterparties. The details were also in his jewelry. The rapper rocked a one-of-a-kind cigarette box handcrafted by New York City jeweler Briony Raymond in collaboration with Rocky’s PAVĒ NITEŌ jewelry brand.
In the center of the crackled piece is an 1880s antique Byzantine medallion that added an artistic element to Rocky’s look on Monday evening. Also from the 1800s was the English gold wristlet fob, while the box features solid 18 karat white and yellow gold, along with 200 natural round brilliant diamonds.
The custom piece marks the second time that Briony Raymond was highlighted in Rocky’s Met Gala look. At last year’s event, Raymond created an umbrella set with 90 carats of diamonds to compliment Rocky’s custom all-black AWGE attire that fit the Black dandyism theme.
Rocky quietly established PAVĒ NITEŌ last year with skull-shaped rings that he wore to Matthieu Blazy‘s Chanel couture debut, as detailed by Hypebeast. The jewelry also pulled influence from the Don’t Be Dumb album covers, which Rocky tapped filmmaker Tim Burton for.
