The next temporary Louis Vuitton retail location, with a focus on Virgil Abloh's latest fall collection for the French fashion house, will be constructed in New York City, WWD reports.

The collection will be on full display at 132 Ludlow St., a 6,000 square-foot space in Manhattan's Lower East Side. The location will feature a monochromatic aesthetic entirely covered in neon green, including all the decor and the exterior. The fashion house's recent pop-up in Chicago, which coincided with Abloh's MCA exhibition, similarly opted for a bold neon aesthetic.

Louis Vuitton's temporary location will be open from July 12 to July 21 and will feature key pieces including flag prints, monogrammed accessories, and leather goods. Shirts and sweaters featuring the New York City-inspired “New Walkers” print and new "Skate" trainers inspired by vintage skateboarding will be available for purchase.

According to the announcement, the location was selected in reference to Louis Vuitton's runway show in January. For his fall 2019 catwalk, Abloh commissioned a rendering of a New York City sidewalk at night, meant to resemble the set of Michael Jackson's 1983 "Billie Jean" video. Additionally, the location was reportedly selected on account of the Lower East Side being home to many streetwear storefronts, making the upcoming high-fashion presence one of the few.

Since last fall, Louis Vuitton has erected pop-ups in London, Shanghai, Tokyo, and New York City, however, the upcoming neon installation will be the third under Abloh's distinct creative direction.
