Like most Internet sensations, Tardar Sauce, a.k.a. Tard, a.k.a. Grumpy Cat, first achieved digital fame thanks to a viral Reddit post in 2012. Since then, this frowning feline became the meme to end all cat memes (sorry, Chemistry Cat and Ceiling Cat).
Grumpy Cat is known for hating most humans, cutting off every cheerful sentiment with “no,” and referring to just about every fun activity on the planet as “it was awful.” She pretty much sums up how we all feel on Monday morning, and that’s exactly why we love her so much.
