Ronnie Fieg, hot off his collaboration with adidas Consortium, looks like he's already onto the next collaboration. Of course, Fieg is the master of creating line-up worthy footwear, but we have a strong feeling that his latest collaboration—a project with Virgil Abloh's Off-White—is going to blow the metaphorical hype train right off the tracks.
Teased on Fieg's Instagram, it appears that the duo have created a new take on the Off-White hiking boot. While the teaser doesn't feature a full shot of the boot, this looks suspiciously like Off-White's hiking boot, also known as the "Ice Pick." The boots in question feature double pull tabs, chunky, hiking-style laces, and speedlace metal hooks on the neck of the boot. If these are indeed the Ice Picks, they should also boast literal ice picks on the boot's sole; it's a detail that would make any mountain climber proud.
While little is known about the new collaboration or its impending release, we're just happy that the next time a Kith release takes place during a major snowstorm, the kids brave enough to stand in line will have something to wear on their feet.
