For some people, having their mugshot shared online would be a nightmare, but for others, their run-ins with the authorities are the reason for their 15 minutes of internet fame. Recently, we've seen mugshots go viral thanks to the those naturally good-looking people who happened to find themselves in front of a police camera.

The mugshots, many which could easily be mistaken for modeling head shots, have earned these captives thousands of fans and followers on social media. Jeremy Meeks, who you may know as "Hot Mugshot Guy" was lucky enough to use his viral status to launch a new modeling career, while others like Megan McCullough AKA "Attractive Convict" used hers as a wake-up call.

Here are six people who owe their viral fame to their mugshots.

Meagan McCullough AKA "Attractive Convict"

Meagan McCullough was arrested in 2010 for a driving under the influence. But, it wasn't until 2012 that her ridiculously good-looking mugshot surfaced online. The photo really took off after someone turned it into a meme with the words "wanted in 50 States" across it. The picture quickly went viral with many others adding their own hilarious messages like "arrested for breaking and entering your heart." The mother of four who know goes by her maiden name Simmons, later said the "meme" was a wake-up call.

Jeremy Meeks AKA "Hot Mugshot Guy"

Jeremy Meeks' life changed the moment he looked into the police camera with his baby blue eyes, and it wasn't because he was being charged with felony gun possession. Meeks' mugshot would become a viral sensation after being shared on the Stockton County Police Department's Facebook page in 2014. That fateful photo, which earned him the nickname "Hot Mugshot Guy," would lead to a burgeoning modeling career with White Cross Model Management, the agency that signed him while he was still behind bars.

Alysa Suguro Bathrick AKA "Cute Mugshot Girl"

This teen from North Carolina took the internet by storm after she was arrested in 2014 for carrying Xanax with an intent to distribute. The photo gained Alysa Suguro Bathrick thousands of admirers on social media. To prove she deserved to be "cute mugshot" girl, Bathrick was arrested again in 2015 for shoplifting. The ensuing mugshot was of course, just as cute.

Sean Kory AKA "Hot Mugshot Guy 2.0"

Sean Kory was the beautiful follow-up to Jeremy Meeks' viral mugshot. The 29-year-old captured the hearts of women everywhere after being arrested in 2014. Kory reportedly went crazy on a Fox News reporter at a Halloween parade in California. Even though Kory briefly stole the title as "Hot Mugshot Guy," it doesn't look like he shares the same future in modeling. Sorry, ladies.

Sarah Furay AKA "Adorable Drug Kingpin"

19-year-old Sarah Furay was busted in Texas in 2015. The teen was arrested for "possession and delivery" of cocaine, Ecstasy, meth, and LSD. Despite the alleged charges, Furay snapped a bizarrely happy mugshot. The photo quickly garnered her the nickname of "Adorable Drug Kingpin."

Fury's story took an interesting turn when it was later found out that her father actually worked for the DEA, which could explain her big smile.

Sarah Seawright AKA "Prison Bae"

Sarah Seawright was dubbed "Prison Bae" earlier this year when her mugshot went viral, proving the Internet still can't get enough of attractive criminals. The 24-year-old from Arkansas was arrested for failing to appear in court for a careless driving charge from 2014. According to news reports, she has previously been accused of robbery, kidnapping, and battery, but that didn't keep thirsty dudes from falling for her.

Seawright is making the most of her new found Internet fame. She has retweeted the #prisonbae hashtag and added "Favorite Prison Bae" to her Instagram bio.
