One thing you hopeflly have to look forward to in the midst of this long and draining winter season is some sort of vacation to take your mind off of all the stresses of day-to-day life. Ideally, traveling plans have already been booked and now you're just counting down the days until you hop on the plane and take off to enjoy the next week or so.

Because we want to make sure you're packing the right things, we've put together a short list of must-have items that should be in your suitcase. Whether you're headed to Aspen and in need of some great boots or you're headed to Miami and looking for some great transitional pieces to go from the beach to the bar, we've highlighted all of that in our Stop-Motion Guide On Packing Essentials For Spring Break.

Destination: Miami

Yes, Miami might be a bit outdated when it comes to Spring Break vacationing, but it doesn't stop droves of party animals heading to the tip of Florida for the week. And for the possibility that you could end up chilling with Rick Ross, we'd still make a trip. Miami is all about making sure you pack transitional items, so make sure you have a pair of shoes that easily go from the beach to the bar. And make sure you have racks on racks for a crucial visit to King of Diamonds.

Destination: Europe

Maybe you're looking to do some sight-seeing this spring break and want to tap into your more cultural side. Taking a trip to Europe will most likely include a lot of tourist adventures, which means lots of walking. Comfortable shoes, some washed-in chinos, and a great denim jacket will help you look as casually stylish as Europeans without trying too hard.

Destination: Tulum, Mexico

Tulum has turned into the "it spot" of vacation destinations over the past few years and the hype doesn't look like it's dying anytime soon. If you're looking to grab some sun and a drink with sugar around the rim, plus stunt on the 'gram with a picturesque shot of clear blue water, this is the spot to do it. Destination: Aspen

Spring time in Aspen may be the best time to go if you're looking to have some real fun in the snow. The temps are definitely mild enough so that no one's suffering from hypothermia, but you can still expect a ton of snow. Snow pants, an insulated outerwear piece, and a great boot are obvious, but you never realize how awesome a that Uniqlo HEATTECH T-shirt is until it keeps you warm while you're shredding at 10,000 feet and breathes when you're having a beer in the lodge.
