What to cop at ComplexCon
On Nov. 5 and 6, Complex will put on its first ever ComplexCon. In addition to performances by Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Skrillex, and more, we're bringing the best food trucks, panels, and of course brands. Trust us, there's a lot to look forward to.
Here's what you can cop at ComplexCon. Make sure to buy your tickets now.
Second/Layer
Second/Layer is one of menswear's rising stars. Founded in L.A. in 2013, the brand has already been nominated for a Woolmark Prize and is only growing its global presence. It's best known for basics—tees, hoodies, trousers—in neutral colors that always have a twist, whether it's the fabric used or the patterns employed. If you're a minimalist, Second/Layer is a must.
VFiles
VFiles, the global creative social-networking website best known for discovering and stocking daring, sometimes avant garde brands, is a go-to for Gen Z (and Young Thug). In addition to carrying brands like MISBHV, X-Large, and Astrid Andersen, it also produces its own in-house line and has collaborated with everyone from Justin Bieber to Mountain Dew.
Article N°
Founded in 2015, Article N° is inspired by the spirit of L.A. culture. Its sneakers are clean and minimal, and all $200 or less.
N/A
It's getting colder, which means that no-sock life won't fly for long. Good thing we've got N/A or Necessary Anywhere. N/A makes socks in neutral hues that play with color blocking or patterns that you can where every day, anywhere.
Union
Union, first established in New York in 1989, now has its store in Los Angeles. Owned and operated by Chris Gibbs, Union continues to stock some of the best menswear brands around—everything from Acne to Visvim. So, why would you shop anywhere else?
Alpha Industries
Alpha Industries makes rugged outwear that feel like the real thing pilots wore back in the day. You probably know them best for those popular bomber jackets that have been reinterpreted by brands like Stussy and Uniform Experiment, and worn by Kanye West.
Carhartt WIP
Carhartt doesn't need much introduction. Found in 1889, the American brand has become known for its rugged workwear pieces, but it also has quite a rich history in hip-hop. Over the years, it's been co-signed by everyone from Dr. Dre to Nas to Action Bronson.
Jansport
Again, another brand that needs little introduction. Jansport is responsible for one of the most iconic designs of everyday items—the backpack.
Nike
Nike does everything in a major way. We can't reveal what they have planned at ComplexCon just yet, but trust us—you won't want to miss this.
Nixon
Nixon is best known for its affordable watches. No, really: the timepieces start at $60.

Urbanears
Scandinavian headphone maker Urbanears has already collaborated with discerning tastemakers like Marc Jacobs and the creative teams at H&M and Pendelton over the years. At ComplexCon, you can add your own name to that list, when Urbanears offers the option to customize a pair of headphones on site.
