Style History: Cassie
Does she have talent? Does she deserve to be a star? And most importantly, what really went/goes down between her and Puff? Many questions surround the once chart-topping R&B songstress Cassie. And although she's yet to give the public a clear answer on any of the above, there's no doubting the Hartford, Connecticut native's eye-candy factor. A part of that appeal--a huge chunk actually--has to do with her Filipino-Mexican-West-Indian-African-American-waaaay-more-exotic-than-thou looks, but a portion of it has to do with the two-time Complex cover girl's dope style.
