Palace Skateboards has announced its upcoming collaboration with the Detroit Tigers.
According to a press release, the partnership celebrates Palace’s “love for the city of Detroit.” The collection includes a coach jacket, hooded sweats, t-shirts, New Era® 59FIFTY fitted caps, socks, a skate deck, and a custom Rawlings® baseball, all of which are emblazoned with the city’s 313 area code and the Detroit Tigers and Palace’s logos. Every piece incorporates the MLB team’s Navy, Orange, and White colors.
The collection acts as an “homage to the city, which has influenced Palace Skateboards through its creative individuals, skateboarding culture and legendary techno scene.” The campaign photos feature the Palace skate team and friends during a trip to Detroit.
Also accompanying the collection is Palace’s “Detroit 313” video, a 53-minute short film that was seven years in the making.
The latest collab from Palace and the Detroit Tigers will be available July 3 and 4 at palaceskateboards.com and Palace Skateboards stores.
