Nigo’s Moncler x Mercedes Benz collection is here.
Launched in Moncler’s SoHo store this week, the collaboration includes the G-Class Past II Future limited-edition car and various collaborative clothing and accessory items. The activation also showcases their Hot Wheels project, which will be available in September. It's a miniature version of the Moncler Mercedes G-Wagon.
“I always refer to the past,” Nigo said of the collection in a statement. “In Japan, there is a saying that goes, ‘Learn from the past to create something new.’”
The collection fuses “'80s and '90s design with New York hip-hop culture,” featuring varsity jackets, hoodies, shirts, a denim jacket, jeans, and a Moncler puffer that draw from the brand’s archive and incorporate Mercedes’ prints and embroidery.
Moncler x Mercedes-Benz by NIGO is now available in select Moncler stores and on moncler.com. Their special car will be showcased outside Moncler's SoHo flagship through April 6. Visitors will be able to snag a special NIGO-designed parking ticket with purchase.
