Nigo has revealed a variety of features set to appear on his album I Know Nigo.
The A Bathing Ape creator took to Instagram on Monday night to make the announcement that Kid Cudi, Pharrell, ASAP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Pusha T, Tyler, the Creator, Teriyaki Boyz, and Famlay will appear on the project—“and more” to be announced.
Back in February, news surfaced that Nigo had signed to Universal Music Group under Steven Victor’s record label Victor Victor Worldwide.
“I have just signed with Universal Music Group,” Nigo wrote on IG. “New album coming soon on Victor Victor.”
In addition to his work in the fashion world, Nigo has worked as a DJ and record producer, is the DJ of the Japanese rap group Teriyaki Boyz. Victor and Nigo have a connection through Pharrell, who helped popularize BAPE; Victor was also the publicist and manager for Pharrell’s group Clipse, and later worked with Pusha T and G.O.O.D. Music.
