Last weekend, North Carolina native Jonathan Trappe made his (and our) dreams come true. He made the real-life version of Carl Frederickson's balloon house from the film, Up for the International Balloon Festival in central Mexico. He also plans to make a 2,500-mile voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in a lifeboat kept aloft by 365 balloons. Read more about his project on Indiegogo.
