When we previewed visvim's Fall/Winter collection earlier this summer, we saw a great array of Native American and Americana-inspired pieces like Navajo print-covered overshirts and distressed denim jackets. Visvim is adding this new down jacket to the collection, constructed from Italian nylon, featuring intricate patchwork detailing throughout the bottom and sleeves. The sleeves also feature an MA-1-style pocket, giving this an additional military-esque touch. The jacket falls right in line with what we've come to expect from the Japanese brand.
Visvim is the epitome of "often imitated, never duplicated" these days, with their sneaker silhouettes being remixed or recreated by sneaker customizers and bigger footwear brands alike. With military and Americana-inspired styles falling on trend throughout most of this year, more designers will surely begin to take cues from their clothing as well in the near future.
