By now, you should be well-versed with our weekly deep dive into the vast Etsy ocean. If not, well hello there, and welcome.

If the items that made up Etsy were to collectively form a human being, he or she would be everyone's go-to best friend. This person would know how to whip up delicious specialty, vegan dishes from scratch, use all your old wood to make entirely new pieces of furniture, surface the best of the best from flea markets and thrift shops and decorate your walls with prints and gift your friends with letterpress. All in all, Etsy would be one keeper of a human being.

Unfortunately, Etsy is a marketplace, not a person. But at least you can purchase the items that lure you in. Here are 10 of those alluring items this week. Go wild.

Cacao Especial "Drinking Chocolate"

Call it what you want: drinking chocolate, hot chocolate, steamy amazingness. Whichever way, 'tis the season to drink chocolatey goodness at a high temperature. Skip the Swiss Miss, and opt for this "single sourced ecuadorian cacao, lightly sweetened with only raw palm sugar infused with whole vanilla beans." Sounds good. We'll take a dozen orders.

Shop: Flying Bird Botanicals
What: Cacao Especial 100% Organic and Fair Trade Drinking Chocolate, $12.75

Vintage Nut Bowl

What's the one easy food to share at parties? Nuts. You buy them, if you're fancy, you roast them with some choice spices, and then you serve them. However, that to-go container from the bodega is starting to get a little old (literally). This vintage version is a respectable alternative.

Shop: Bergen House
What: Vintage Hellerware Nut Bowl, $36

Vintage Medicine Bottles

Calling all typography geeks. This set of vintage medicine bottles is a look at retro labeling and packaging at its finest.

Shop: Wretched Shekels
What: Vintage Collection of Medicine Bottles (7), $59

Wave Bird House

So you're going to upgrade your own living arrangements and leave your birds with the 1st-grade bird house you made when your motor skills were on par with your dog's? If you've got a little extra to spend, why not treat the flying creatures outside your window with an ultra-sleek modern bird house. This one is appropriately titled "Wave," though other names include "The Trailer" and "Teardrop."

Shop: KoolBird
What: "Wave" Bird House, $120

F*CK THIS SH*T Pencil Set of 6

Sometimes work can become monotonous and/or frustrating, in which case, these pencils are the embodiment of self expression. Plus, the very nature of pencils gives you the power to both create and destroy the very thing you just made reality.

Shop: The Carbon Crusader
What: F*CK THIS SH*T Pencils (set of 6), $8

Vintage Danish Modern Teak Coffee Table

The Danes and furniture are possibly a better combo than peanut butter and jelly. The clean lines and simplicity somehow calm and lure you in at the same time, and call me crazy, but this piece seems to be smiling. It's trickery, and it's brilliant.

Shop: CoMod
What: Vintage Danish Modern Teak Coffee Table, $399

Vintage Shakespeare Leather Mini King Henry Volumes

Get your whiskey out, assume a brooding look, head to stoop, and whip these out to impress. Just kidding. Please don't do that. These are, however, pretty rad. Who doesn't want little pocket-sized editions of a Shakespeare classic?

Shop: Ms Michigan Roux
WhatVintage Shakespeare Leather Mini King Henry Volumes (7), $45

"The One" Abstract Print by Ashley G

The clever name signals out the little yellow shape lingering in the bottom right corner of this abstract digital print. If you've ever sifted through a thousand <fill in the blank> and finally found what you're looking for, then you can relate.

Shop: Ashley G
What: "The One" Abstract Art Print by Ashley G, $28

Paper Plane Hand Carved Stamp

Letterpress stationary is reliably and undeniably beautiful, but sometimes a different approach adds a little element of surprise, for those who still believe in sending and giving physical pieces of paper to people. This paper plane is hand-carved and comes packaged in recycled plastic.

Shop: Extase
What: Paper Plane Hand Carved Stamp, $12

Mountain Dew Jelly

Yes. You read that right. What, you use strawberry or grape jelly on your toast? Clearly, you're missing out. This is made from real Dew, not the fake stuff, and is either amazing or atrociously disgusting, but I'm willing to spend five bucks to find out.

Shop: TLC Jams
What: Mountain Dew Jelly, $5
