In a last minute announcement, Kanye West is set to bring the Yeezy brand to Paris Fashion Week. On Saturday, industry insiders started to receive invitations "from the West family" to a Yeezy Season 8 show in Paris, Women's Wear Daily pointed out. While it wasn't clarified if it would be a reveal of a full collection, a runway show, or a presentation, the invite does tease that it will showcase "a little piece of our home in Cody, Wyoming."

The show is set to take place on Monday (Mar. 2), but it will be proceeded by a Sunday Service event the day before. Scheduled to start at 9 a.m., the event will presumably be similar to other Sunday Service performances in the past, complete with a choir offering gospel takes on his music.

When it comes to Yeezy Season reveals, Kanye has often gone big. His most famous one came around the release of his album The Life of Pablo in 2016, in which he debuted pieces from Season 3 at Madison Square Garden as he played an unfinished version of the album. Yeezy Season 7 was first revealed at the start of 2018, although Season 8 footwear dropped last year.

The news comes just as several brands pulled out of Paris Fashion Week over coronavirus concerns. Shiatzy Chen, Masha Ma, Uma Wang, Calvin Luo, Maison Mai, and Agnés B have all canceled their shows, while other brands proudly flaunted face masks as part of their collections.
