Blackpink Team Up With Takashi Murakami on New Capsule Collection

The K-pop superstars have released a 19-piece collection with the iconic Japanese graphic designer.

The NTWRK

K-pop superstars Blackpink have collaborated with Takashi Murakami for a new capsule collection.

Combining the iconography of Blackpink, specifically the group's logo, with the vibrant graphic work of Murakami, the items in the collection feature a new character named Pandakashi. The character is represented across multiple pieces in the collection, which consists of multiple short-sleeve t-shirts, long-sleeves, hoodies, pillows, keychains, a coach jacket, a photocard holder, and a sticker set.

Pieces range from $65 to $120, while the accessories, which also include a lanyard and two prints, retail between $15 to $120. To coincide with the release of the merch, which is available to purchase here, a new animation featuring Pandakashi has been shared online.

Blackpink made history at Coachella earlier this year when they became the first K-pop group to headline the festival. “Still feels surreal that we did this! Thank you @coachella for having us!” the group wrote on Instagram at the time. "And to all BLINKs out there, we could’ve never done this without you guys. We are forever grateful. Thank you again for these unforgettable two weeks and hope to see you all again!”

The group has yet to announce the follow-up to their hugely successful second studio album, Born Pink, but they did drop "The Girls" earlier this year.
