Famed jeweler Alex Moss teamed up with Tyler, the Creator for a brand new creation.
On Wednesday, Moss introduced a new “Darryl” chain through a teaser video on his Instagram account. Official details on the chain weren’t available at publishing time, but the gold and black jeweled dog pendant was shown off to the score of a vibrant eighties pop audio bed that cuts to Tyler’s “Like Him” featuring Lola Young, taken from his latest album, Chromakopia.
If you’re not familiar with Tyler, this dog chain might not be as random as you think it is.
As explained by High Snobiety’s Jake Silbert, the 33-year-old rapper is allergic to dogs but has a fascination with Airedale Terriers, particularly one named Darryl, who appeared in his 2023 “Dogtooth” music video.
Darryl has also inspired a variety of designs throughout Tyler’s fashion ventures, including his Golf le Fleur clothing line and Louis Vuitton collection.
