Tom Brady has left the Patriots. It's over. He's gone. He announced the decision on Instagram and sent the sports world into collective shock. We all knew this was a possibility, but it's still shocking to see it actually happen. With NFL free agency starting on March 16th, all eyes on where Brady is going next, with the Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers rumored to have made big offers to the six-time Super Bowl champion.
Could other teams get into the mix? Is Brady trying to drive up his market value? Everything seems in play right now, but one thing is for sure, his career as a New England Patriot is over. With news breaking today, we picked out five NFL teams that should try and sign Brady right now. So, here’s where Tom Brady should be going next season:
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are officially off to Las Vegas, and what better way to make a splash in a new city than bring in the GOAT? And honestly, Jon Gruden wasn't exactly singing Derek Carr's praises after the season ended. Seeing Brady in a Raiders jersey would be insane.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers are the most popular team linked to Tom Brady's future for whatever reason. It appears that Phillip Rivers is done in LA, and Brady is from California, so that makes sense. It would be crazy to see Brady suit up in those Charger baby blue uniforms. And don't forget that Brady recently started a full-blown production company. Could this all be part of his plan to go Hollywood?
Indianapolis Colts
This would be a stunner after how many times Brady has battled against the Colts over the years, but it's clear that Indy is going to be looking for a QB upgrade this offseason, so maybe they bring in Brady to Peyton Manning's old stomping grounds.
Chicago Bears
It's no secret that the Chicago Bears need an upgrade at QB over Mitch Trubisky, could that upgrade come in the form of Tom Brady? There's not much of a known connection here, but the Bears have been linked to other QBs that will be available in March, so this could make some sense.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
We already know the Bucs have made an offer to Brady and desperately want the former Patriots QB. It would be weird to see Brady end his career in Tampa Bay, but this makes a ton of sense from a football perspective. The Bucs have plenty of weapons on offense and Bruce Arians is as good with QBs as anyone in the NFL. It surely would be odd to see Brady suit up in those creamsicle uniforms, though.
