From the front…not so bad. From the back? Uh, no. This bright orange Lamborghini Aventador recently had its engine replaced and was on a shakedown run on the Autobahn when, all of a sudden, things got a bit hot.
It turns out the new 6.5L V12 engine wasn’t completely squared away and it quickly overheated. The flagship Lambo went alight by the side of the road, but by the time firefighters got on scene, it was too late. We hope they had good insurance; the Aventador starts at an eye-watering $398,000.
