Club Owners Asking Michael Vick to Race Outside Their Venues After 'Atlanta' Cameo

Michael Vick may start taking bids to race outside of clubs.

Atlanta is an off-the-wall series where almost anything can happen. But Michael Vick's cameo on last week's episode, "Money Bag Shawty," may be one of the best moments yet.

In the episode, the former NFL quarterback is outside a strip club and willing to take on anybody who wants to try him in a footrace. Earn, who's played by the series' co-creator Donald Glover, decides to take him up for the challenge after a day of disappointments. Now, club owners want to make the moment a reality (sans Glover). And Vick is considering it.

"After seeing that, I've gotten a lot of requests to come out and race guys outside of the club," said Vick in an interview with Bleacher Report. "Whether it's a strip club or a regular club, I might make that my side hustle, man. Maybe two weekends out of the month, I'll go ahead and make me some money."

It turns out that the incredible moment almost didn't happen since Vick was a bit skeptical about it at first. "Sometimes for people, whenever you're doing something new or going to different places and experiencing different things, if it's outside of your normal routine, you don't want to step out there," he explained. "But that was one where I found out it was Donald Glover, and it was one of the hottest shows on TV. I'm like, 'It's Atlanta. I have to do it.' So I did it."

It would definitely be interesting if Vick ever decides to start racing drunken patrons (as long as he avoids the axe-throwing bar in Brooklyn).
