Shannon Sharpe isn’t here for any slander he’s facing for having a dog at his Thanksgiving table.
The talk show host and podcaster hopped on X to clap back at the people who criticized his choice of having his dog on his lap at the dinner table.
Sharpe responded to the criticism, wondering why people had so much to say about a dinner they were never invited to.
When one person wrote, “You know no animals allowed on the table!!!,” Sharpe responded with, “At your house or mine?”
When another person suggested that dogs aren’t meant to eat at a table, Sharpe barked back with, “What makes you think I’m going to allow you 2 tell me what I should do at my house?” before telling someone else that they have a one in an 'octillion' chance of ever eating with him.
Sharpe’s Thanksgiving antics went viral when he shared a video of himself leading a Thanksgiving prayer with his dog in his lap. The video shows there’s plenty of human food on the table that looks freshly made — leaving many to wonder why he would put his dog right in front of it.
A couple of weeks ago, Sharpe made headlines when he sat down with Keke Palmer for his Club Shay Shay podcast and she cracked a joke about his viral Instagram Live incident with “Michelle.”
During the conversation, Palmer reflected on how she kissed a man who was 27 when she was 17, prompting Sharpe to jokingly respond with “You like them older, huh?” Palmer hopped in quickly for the clapback with, “That’s what Michelle said!”
This made Sharpe laugh, telling the star, “Come on Keke! You been waiting for that. It’s too soon, Keke!”
Palmer, clearly having fun, kept the moment going. "They don't call you hunky Uncy for nothing," she added.
