A wrestling event in California on Saturday (Aug. 24) went awry when Rampage Jackson’s son, Raja, was filmed brutally attacking a professional wrestler.

In disturbing footage of the scene that was captured live on Kick, Raja, who has professional MMA training, entered the ring at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event and slammed a wrestler known as Syko Stu onto the mat.

After the slam, Raja climbed on top of the seemingly unconscious wrestler and punched him more than 20 times in the head before other wrestlers swarmed in to break it up.

Following the fight, Raja was seen on livestream footage angrily leaving the event while ranting.

“Tired of motherfuckers playing with me, bruh,” he said. “One of them’s a bitch and fucking bit me.

“I’m not no fucking bitch, bro. At the end of the day, I’m gonna stand up for my fucking self,” he continued. When wrestlers followed him outside, Raja yelled that they “jumped” him.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful wrote on X that Raja’s appearance in the ring was planned, but what happened afterward wasn’t.

“Based on what I've heard, the spot with Raja Jackson at Knokx Pro Wrestling was planned,” Sapp wrote. “However, Raja Jackson knocked the person out—ring name Syko Stu—and followed up with a lot of heavy punches to Syko Stu, which were not planned to do that kind of damage.”

“Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries,” Sapp continued. “We are working to find out more and have Stu in our thoughts.”

Rampage later took to X to speak about the event.

“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable,” Rampage wrote. “Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his 'payback' in the ring, i thought it was apart of the show.”

“It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong,” Rampage continued. “Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.

“As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith,” Rampage concluded. “That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.”
