Kevin Durant ripped people who follow and believe the content from parody X account, @TheNBACentel.

The outspoken NBA player hopped on X this morning (Oct. 14) to post his thoughts about the account and the people who comment on its hilarious posts that often poke fun at popular players like KD himself.

“Sometimes I wake up and look at @TheNBACentel comments just to truly see how many dummies come online thinking that they have high iq. Good morning,” wrote KD.

When a fan responded to him to let him know that KD’s commentary about the troll page makes the jokes even funnier, KD turned his attention to the person that runs it — speculating that he must be an angry fan. “I must’ve made this dude mad 8 years ago and he’s still in his feelings. The NBA season is upon us,” added KD.

The NBA Centel page, catching wind of KD's comments, reposted his message, writing "TALK TO EM KD." They better watch it. That might send KD off on another strongly-worded tangent.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, KD had some harsh words aimed at critics of Team USA’s close win over Serbia. "To all you nuggets fans, nobody gives a f**k who yall lames believe is the best player in the league, players got major respect for Jok, we don’t worship him like yall do but most are in awe of his brilliance," wrote Durant. "Trolling you cornballs for rooting against us is apart of the game. Deal wit it.”

KD also lashed out at fan culture in general.

"Lets talk about the fan culture that’s been created recently," he ranted. "A lot of huge egos who believe they are the reason for the advancement of a sport. A LOT of idol worship, a lot of hate and division based off wins and losses, a lot of disrespect of the work being put in by these incredible athletes, mostly by people who don’t know what it takes to be good at anything besides talking…go do something and get out the way."

Think KD hopped off to cool down for a second? Think again. He responded to another fan who suggested that the culture Kd is referring to existed way before he played basketball professionally.

"That’s what yall do, yall clowns," he wrote. "Use players to push these corny agendas yall got. This a brotherhood fam, u not apart of. It’s a problem now cuz social media got u clowns walkin around wit your chest out like u mean something. YOU DONT!!! YOUR TAKES DONT MATTER.”
