Cam Newton appeared to get into a heated moment with an Alabama A&M mascot during a 40-yard dash competition.
The dustup seemed to occur when the mascots for Alabama A&M and Alabama State finished a foot race that was televised on First Take on Friday, Oct. 24.
After the Alabama State mascot seemingly won, the frustrated A&M mascot seemed to try and knock off the hat on Newton's head — leading to an intense confrontation that could have gone sideways quickly.
Newton turned around and cocked back his hand to slap the bullcrap out of the Bulldog mascot. Instead of backing down, the dog charged right back at him — leading to a few exchanged jabs before Newton gave one final shove.
Newton then gave the Bulldog a final warning. "Stop playing with me," he said before the mascot approached him and seemingly ended the altercation by patting him on the back.
In other Newton news that's much less violent, the retired NFL player revealed that he has recently welcomed his second child with actress and comedian Jasmin Brown. Last year, the couple welcomed their first child together.
Newton now has nine children in total.
