We all whined at GM when Pontiac went under about the G8. We wanted that wonderful car back as a Chevy or something. GM imported it, but sadly, it was only sold to law enforcement agencies as the Caprice.
Luckily, all of our moaning appears to have worked. GM's Aussie division, Holden, will be importing the Commodore as the Chevrolet SS. The SS will also be fielded in NASCAR.
We'd love to see an El Camino ute and a Buick Roadmaster wagon come of this as well. Are you listening, GM product planners?
