Dez Bryant Taunts Cowboys After Another Loss

Dez Bryant appeared to delight in yet another Cowboys loss, mocking owner Jerry Jones' thoughts on Dallas' lack of a no. 1 wide receiver.

Dez Bryant just can't help himself. The former Cowboys wide receiver, who still hasn't found a team after being waived over the summer, took to Twitter yet again—this time with his actual account—after Dallas lost to the Houston Texans in overtime on Sunday, 16-13. The sequence of events at the end of the game in conjunction with a Jerry Jones quote appeared to rile Bryant.

On the very first possession in overtime, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett elected to punt on 4th and 1 at Dallas' own 42-yard line. After the punt, WR DeAndre Hopkins made an incredible run after the catch to set up the game-winning field goal. Dallas' oil baron owner was referring to that play when he responded to a question about Dallas' lack of a real No. 1 receiver:

“I’d love to have No. 1 receivers,” Jones had said on 105.3 the Fan radio after the game. “You have to get those when the opportunities are there. Hopkins is tremendous. He made the plays out there that made a lot of difference.”

His response was the opening Dez needed:

That wasn't the only time he alluded to conspicuous absence from the Cowboys' huddle on Sunday:

Dez added one more tweet about the matter before moving on to his impatience about the next COD drop:

Bryant apparently rejected a multi-year offer from Baltimore, so his continued presence at home on Sundays is as much his decision as it's the other 29 NFL teams who haven't signed him yet. However, it seems like Dez only has eyes for Dallas, which is why he can't prevent himself from cramming the send button during games where he feels like he could have benefited his old team. This past Sunday most certainly qualifies in his eyes.
