Wait, Brett Favre isn't playing this season? It's true. But with all the talk about the retired QB, you'd barely notice that it's the first NFL season without Favre since 1990. And while the Super Bowl champ and three-time MVP has had his fair share of great moments throughout his career, there's no doubt that over the last years he's had some epic fails. Favre celebrates his 42nd birthday today and rather than stroking his big head (ayo!) with a recap of his best highlights (we leave that pause-worthy treatment to John Madden), we're listing his biggest blunders over the years. That's right, we're covering everything including his thirsty pursuit of Jenn Sterger, him throwing away the NFC championship game, and even a nut shot (relax, not the Sterger kind). So, as Favre kicks back in his Wranglers somewhere and enjoys his born day, check out the 10 Biggest Brett Favre Fails of All Time...

10. Terrible Two-Step

Date: 12/31/2010
If you ever imagined Brett Favre dancing, this video is probably just as bad as you pictured it being. Brett Favre two-stepping to Vanilla Ice? After seeing this, we suddenly feel the need to go stand in the sun for a while. SPF 0, fam.

9. Final Appearance in an NFL Game

Date: 12/20/2010
It's always the young'ns that you have to watch out for. Word to Troy Aikman. On the last play of his career, Favre was rocked by Bears defensive end rookie Corey Wootton. The concussion-causing hit ended a glorious career that probably should've ended a year or two earlier.

8. His Love of Playing Grab Ass

Date: N/A
We're not sure exactly when it started, but Brett Favre just loves to get his hands on some ass. We're not just talking about Jenn Sterger, either. Teammates, opponents, refs, team trainers no one was safe from Favre's advances. We're guessing some strip club in Hattiesburg, Miss. is seeing a boost in business this season.

7. Wrangler Jeans Commercials

Date: 2007
Golden retriever? Check. Red pick-up truck? Check. Touch football? Check. Doesn't get much more American or wholesome than those three things. We'd clown Brett Favre but there's nothing we could say that the YouTube comments haven't said already . #ruthless

6. Karma's A...

Date: 10/13/2010
Less than a week after the Jenn Sterger scandal broke, Favre was seen on video taking a nut shot during Vikings practice. If his eye were on the ball like his cell phone camera was focused on his...OK, we'll stop there. But you get the point.

5. Hate For Aaron Rodgers

Date: April 2005 - Present
The drama started in April 2005 when the Packers--despite making the playoffs (lost in the Wild Card round)--decided to draft quarterback Aaron Rodgers 24th overall. Naturally, the 35-year-old Favre would feel a little threatened by his potential replacement. But Favre putting Rodger's development in limbo with his retirement speculation and douchebag attitude towards the young QB (not returning calls for over a year, really fam?) was pretty unwarranted. Last week, this was all capped off with Favre's backhanded compliment toward Rodgers when asked about the Packers winning the Super Bowl last season. Yup, Rodger's "fell into a good situation," just like how Favre "fell into" destroying his own rep over the last few seasons of his career. FOH, oldhead.

4. Love Affair with John Madden

Date: 1995 - Present
We couldn't even title this as a "bromance," it's well beyond that. There's no telling when John Madden's love for Brett Favre began but we're guessing it became more intense around '95 when Favre won his first MVP award. If you've watched any Favre game called by Madden, you know that the audio alone deserves an NC-17 rating. SMH, the slurping that goes on could make some of these girls jealous.

3. Retirement Indecisions and Comebacks

Date: 2007-2010
Talk of Brett Favre retiring first began at the end of the 2006 season when then 36-year-old QB admitted he wasn't sure if he would return for another year. He came back for another season but then, on March 4, 2008, Favre tearfully announced his retirement. Only four months later, Favre publicly announced his desire to comeback and said that he was pressured into retirement by the Packers' front office. He was reinstated and later signed with the Jets for the 2008 season. After missing the playoffs with the Jets, Favre once again retired in February of 2009. But by August of '09 he was signed with the Minnesota Vikings. After taking the Vikings to the NFC Championship, speculation of Favre's return or retirement continued to swirl until he made his return official in August 2010. He came back for a lackluster season which ended in injury in December 2010. Talk over his comeback for 2011 still looms. Yup.

2. Jenn Sterger Scandal

Date: 10/8/2010
Technology x thirsty athletes = fail. You figure Favre would leave this kind of ridiculousness to the young'ns, but nope, Favre went all out with text pics of his dong and desperate voicemails. Favre's pursuit of Jet's Gameday host Jenn Sterger was first documented by Deadspin and later investigated by the NFL. Favre received a $50,000 fine but was not suspended for his conduct, as the league did not have enough sufficient evidence to prove the photos came from Favre. Uhh...we don't know what kind of process they'd have to go through to identify Favre in those pictures but we can't say we blame Goodell for calling it a day.

1. Throws Away NFC Championship

Date: 1/24/2010
With the game tied at 28-28 and 19 seconds on the clock, the Vikings were in good field position on the Saints' 38-yard line. Definitely within range of a game-winning field goal as long as no epic fails occurred on the next play. Well, then the Vikings coaching staff and gunslinging Favre went to work. First, Minnesota lost five yards for having too many men on the field. Then, after a pass play was drawn up, the all-time interceptions leader threw the ball into coverage and into the hands of Tracy Porter. The Saints would go onto to win in overtime 31-28. *Cues Paul Allen's epic commentary*
