With the holiday season upon us, we here at the Rides channel thought it would be fun to take a look at some wild rides made specifically for kids. Although none of us would spend the cheddar on these lavish toys, it's always fun to see how the one percent (and their spoiled progeny) are constantly inventing ways to blow large bundles of cash. From an $80,000 2/3 scale Jaguar D-type to a stealthy mini-submarine, we bring you the best kids toys money can buy.

25. 1959 Goggomobile Dart
Get the kids behind the wheel in style. This super-retro gogomobile has all the panache your budding fashion mogul could ever ask for. It is based on German underpinnings and was built and styled in Australia. We love every sumptuous curve of this down-under cabriolet.
24. Mini-Sub
A farmer in China recently completed work on this super-cool mini-sub. He apparently built it out of recycled material found on his property. It can reach depths of up to 65 feet and has a maximum cruising speed of 10 mph. All aboard!
23. Kids Quad
Save yourself the pain of a trip to the hospital with a screaming 10-year-old. Kids quads - though incredibly fun for junior members of the family - are horribly dangerous. We recommend a go-kart instead.
22. DP-4 Super Go-Kart
This little racer will set you back 50 large. It's powered by a 1600 cc 200 hp Haybusa engine and can reach speeds in excess of 100 mph.

One father in Idaho took his son's love of tanks to a whole new (and ridiculously awesome) level. He built this Sherman replica out wood, outfitted it with a potato canon and even installed a fully-functional drivetrain. Best dad ever!
14. 3/4 Scale Allison Legacy Stock Car
We must concede that this beast isn't quite for kids (even though it's 3/4 scale it can reach speeds of 150 mph!). It was handbuilt in a shop in Arkansas by a former NASCAR mechanic and features a host of high-tech racing components, including a supercharged V8.
13. 3/4 Scale LusoMotors LM SEV-N
No need to leave the kids at home while you head off to the track. Bring them along - as long as you have a 3/4 scale custom SV-N to keep them entertained.
12. 1/2 Scale Jeep
This 1/2 scale jeep may be for rednecks in training but we still love it. Chrome wheels and a 4-cylinder gas engine make this junior 4x4 totally legit.

Got $25,000 to burn? This mini road-rocket can accommodate two junior occupants and - thanks to a fully-functional 80cc Honda engine - can reach speeds in excess of 50 mph.
10. 1/2 Scale 1949 Mercury
It may not look pint-size but trust us, it is. This 1/2 scale Mercury took 3 years to build and is now a headliner at hot-rod shows across the country. It's not for sale but the owner says that he spent about $75,000 in parts and labor. Holy Toledo!

3. Jaguar E-type and Bugatti Racers
The Harrington Group, in London, is a well-known maker of ultra-expensive toy cars for kids. This sleek triumvirate was built in 2009 and quickly found homes in exclusive estates in England. We are horribly envious.
2. 1/2 Scale Mini Porsche 356
This 356 is our dream car. It's historically correct, gas-powered, and can be bought for under $10,000. Too bad it's made for six-year-olds.
1. Mercedes Sl
Luxury toy retailer FAO Schwartz makes some really cool shit. Exhibit A: This Mercedes SL. It runs on gas, comes with four-wheel disk brakes, has power seats, and even comes equipped with a nice set of chrome rims. Price? As the saying goes, "if you have to ask.."
