Skip Bayless and his wife, Ernestine, got candid about their celebrity crushes, revealing who they would use a hall pass on if given the chance.
The married couple made the revelation on the latest episode of their podcast, Skip vs. Ernestine, and Bayless explained that TV icon Marie Osmond once caught his eye during a live performance in Las Vegas.
"We went to see Donnie and Marie in Vegas, and I'm looking at Marie, and I'm like, gosh, she is hot!" Bayless recalled. "One thing led to another, and I think she kinda likes me, kinda has a crush on me."
According to Bayless, Osmond once even sent him a personal video message, which only fueled his belief that the feeling might be mutual. He then turned to Ernestine with a playful plea to obtain a hall pass to quench his desires.
"Marie, I'm available! Would you give me a pass? You wouldn't give me a pass. If it really came to be, you would say no," Bayless said to his wife.
To his surprise, Ernestine responded enthusiastically, offering more than just a pass — she proposed a full getaway between her husband and Osmond.
"Marie, how about a month in Barbados!" Bayless joked. "And then it will be over. It will be over. That's all you have to do is one month."
However, Ernestine wasn't exactly sold on the logistics. She joked that Osmond would probably "kill herself" after a month of watching sports with Skip in a hotel room.
For the record, Skip said he would give Ernestine a hall pass to sleep with legendary actor Al Pacino while adding Gwen Stefani would be his backup plan if things didn't work out with Osmond. In response, Ernestine told her husband he has "range."
