Simone Biles and LeBron James Co-Sign Joke That ‘Dominating Gymnastics Is Her Black Job’ After Winning Olympic Gold

Biles won her second gold medal at the Paris Olympics, and her sixth overall. Her response on X seemed like an apparent dig at Donald Trump's comments.

Simone Biles and LeBron James have made good use of former President Donald Trump's controversial "Black jobs" comment after the gymnast won her second gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

On Friday, Biles hopped on her X page and retweeted a post that celebrated her monumental win. In her retweet, Biles stated she loved her "black job." Shortly after she posted that post, LeBron retweeted her and called her a black goat.

"Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job," read the post that Biles retweeted. In response to her retweet, LeBron wrote, "Black [goat emoji, black heart emoji]."

Biles's retweet might have been in reference to Trump's comments made during a recent election debate and rally in June. According to Trump, migrants have been taking "Black jobs" and "Hispanic jobs," and offered no explanation behind his comments.

During one rally at the National Associate of Black Journalists convention, Trump said, "I will tell you that coming from the border, are millions and millions of people that happen to be taking Black jobs...A Black job is anybody that has a job. That's what it is."

Trump took his opinions on race even further at the same event where he commented on Kamala Harris' blackness and claimed she wasn't fully Black due to her being biracial. According to Trump, he didn't know Kamala was Black up until a few years ago as she was more intuned with her "Indian heritage."

"She was always of Indian heritage and she was promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don't know, is she Indian, or is she Black?"
