The price of Bitcoin has gone up since Donald Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election.

Odell Beckham Jr. is having the last laugh at the expense of anyone who thought he was foolish for taking his 2021 salary with the Los Angeles Rams in Bitcoin currency.

On Wednesday, Odell hopped on his X page and shared a post showing that the popular cryptocurrency hit a record-high mark on exchanges, which meant good things for his pockets regarding that contract he signed in November 2021. Beckham signed an adjusted contract with the Rams and took the money remaining on his contract in Bitcoin.

The 32-year-old's contract had a base salary of $750,000, including a $500,000 signing bonus and three million in incentives he received after winning the Super Bowl with the team. In his tweet, OBJ showed how much Bitcoin had gone up and asked who was still having an issue with his decision.

"Soooo who said taking my Rams salary in bitcoin was dumb again?," Odell tweeted.

The 2014 Rookie of the Year's tweet comes after Russell Okung made headlines for receiving some of his 2020 salary paid out in Bitcoin. As a result, Okung turned $6.5 million into a whopping $20 million. Bitcoin prices have increased since President-elect Donald Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election as he promised to adopt a cryptocurrency plan, including incorporating a federal Bitcoin reserve.

Odell is currently signed with the Miami Dolphins and has five receptions for 32 yards and no touchdowns this season.
