Odell Beckham Jr. took to the app formerly known as Twitter to shut down false retirement rumors after a parody account sparked confusion online.

On Tuesday, a parody account mimicking NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted that Beckham Jr. was retiring after 10 seasons and listing the teams he's played for. The star wide receiver quickly responded, seemingly falling for the prank at first.

"LOL WTF… when was that announced and by who? That's funny, appreciate the concerns but this Shxt ain't over yet," Beckham Jr. wrote. "Learn somethin new everyday?"

A fan later admitted the parody account fooled them and Odell replied, writing, "He definitely did!" before adding, "Not done yet… thanks for hr concerns and have a blessed day."

Odell wasn't quite done there as he addressed people directly in another tweet, especially those who texted him retirement messages: "No seriously. Plz stop reading everything on the internet, and stop texting me happy retirement b4 u piss me off 😭😭😭. That will get no response. I promise u the day I'm done I will let u kno. Again if u text me happy retirement im just gon have to block u😭😭. Thanks."

With less than a month until the NFL's regular season kicks off, Beckham still hasn't signed with a team, but he's making it clear he's not ready to walk away. OBJ has played in 10 NFL seasons, including his breakout years with the Giants, which included 5,476 receiving yards on 390 catches with 44 touchdowns.

Last season, Odell played for the Miami Dolphins and appeared in only nine games, catching nine passes for 55 yards.
