Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. is keeping fans entertained this offseason with his podcast Curious Mike, and his latest guest, Brittany Renner, has stirred up plenty of conversation.
On Friday (September 5), Porter's show shared a snippet of his convo with Renner. The clip had fans buzzing, as the latter had recently been seen arguing with Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington over co-parenting their child. The video shows Renner asking Porter Jr. why he avoids seriously dating women who have previously been involved with NBA players.
“I feel like if you dated like publicly, like a player, it would be hard just because of … it would be tough dating someone’s old girl and they just always have that over you,” Porter explained. “It takes a very understanding person to want to take on that role when you’re going into life with a woman who has a child … it’s something I’ve always thought I would steer away from. It could be like an ego thing or like I don’t know … I’m open to change, I’m not stuck in my ways.”
Porter’s podcast has featured guests including Johnny Manziel, Lana Rhoades, and Denver Nuggets owner Josh Kroneke. His most recent guest was boxer Ryan Garcia. The full episode with Renner has not been released as of this writing.
