LaMelo Ball and Ana Montana are officially stepping into parenthood.

The Charlotte Hornets star and the model, whose real name is Analicia Chaves, recently welcomed their first child together, a son named LaOne. The couple confirmed the news while also announcing the launch of a new fertility-focused initiative inspired by their personal journey.

“Welcoming LaOne into the world has changed our hearts in the best way,” the couple shared in a statement. “Becoming parents has given us an entirely new perspective on love, purpose, legacy and what truly matters most.”

The pair added that they feel grateful for the opportunity to raise their son together and described the experience as life-changing.

“He has brought so much happiness and meaning into our lives,” they said. “We’re embracing this new chapter with so much love and excitement.”

Alongside the birth announcement, Montana revealed she is launching I Am Fertility, a platform and nonprofit organization aimed at supporting women navigating fertility challenges and IVF treatment.

Montana explained that her own experience with IVF inspired the project after she struggled emotionally during the process.

“At one point during my IVF journey, I felt overwhelmed, emotional, isolated and unsure where to turn,” she said. “That experience inspired me to create I Am Fertility as a safe space where women don’t have to face this journey alone.”

According to Montana, the initiative will focus on providing education, emotional support, reproductive health awareness, and access to trusted fertility resources.

The organization will also introduce The HOPE Grant, a financial assistance program designed to help women cover fertility and IVF-related expenses. The first round of grants will award two recipients $5,000 each, with applications opening on Mother’s Day and closing June 1.

Ball and Montana have largely kept details of their relationship private over the years, making the baby announcement one of the couple’s most public personal updates to date.
