Jeff Teague and his Club 520 podcast cohorts have given fans another hilarious moment, this time reacting to Nikola Jokic getting emotional over his horse winning a race earlier this week.

On the latest episode of the Club 520 podcast, Teague, DJ Wells, and Bishop B Henn reacted to the viral clip of Jokic celebrating his horse, Demon Dell'Est, clinching a victory at the Dužijanac 2025 horse race in Subotica, Serbia. The guys couldn't help but laugh at Jokic tearing up and throwing his arms in the air while also hugging his horse following the win.

"I know that face, that parlay hit. My boy took the overs and came through," said Wells before explaining how Jokic might react once he retires from basketball. "I can't wait till he's done with basketball, and if he ever bust open like, 'I don't really care about basketball, y'all. Told y'all, y'all just suck."

Teague went ahead and compared the reaction Jokic had to his horse to how unfazed he looked when the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA Finals. He also explained to his co-hosts how that emotion had nothing to do with sports betting, as Jokic has turned down a three-year, $212 million contract extension with the Nuggets.

"He won a championship. Said, 'Yeah, I'm ready to go home,'" said Teague. "Bro, he started crying. He put his hands in the air, bro [...] Bro, that's how you crawl and hit the lottery, bro."

He added, "That has nothing to do with the money, bro. He just turned down a filthy ticket, bro. He turned down $300 million [...] Bro, he hugged the horse."

Jokic's emotional investment in his horses runs deep. According to an NBA.com report, Jokic's favorite way to decompress in the NBA offseason is training and caring for his horses at a stable he owns back home in Serbia.
