Brooke Hogan is speaking out for the first time following the death of her father, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, and she's raising serious questions about how it all unfolded.
Days after the WWE Hall of Famer died of a reported heart attack, Brooke called into The Bubba the Love Sponge Show on Tuesday to voice her suspicions and confusion over the events surrounding his passing.
"It's weird that no autopsy was performed," Brooke said during the live interview. "Because yes, you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack is the question."
Brooke's suspicions deepened after learning, for the first time, that the Hulkster had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a slow-progressing blood and bone cancer. The diagnosis was revealed through medical documents related to his cause of death, which was something Brooke claimed caught her completely off guard, especially when she stayed on top of his bloodwork.
"That's what has me puzzled," she said. "Because they're saying, 'Oh, he had leukemia.' And I saw his blood work every time. One doctor, I quote, said his blood is like a 25-year-old's. I mean, he took the most care of his body. He was going to an anti-aging specialist, and also, just being through all the surgeries, you have to do a blood panel before any major surgery. How did nobody catch a high white blood cell count?"
She continued, "That's what bothers me the most. And I'm like, we don't have cancer that runs in our family. It just seems weird [...] The lack of an autopsy and then a leukemia diagnosis out of nowhere? It's B.S."
Brooke also expressed concern about the people surrounding her father, accusing them of putting money over his well-being. She revealed she distanced herself from his financial affairs to avoid conflict with her mother, Linda, the Church of Scientology, and his last wife, Sky, out of fear for her father's safety.
On Tuesday, Brooke took to social media with a post containing a headline questioning her father's death alongside a rabbit character saying, "Thank You." "QUICK CREMATION WITHOUT AUTOPSY RAISES QUESTIONS
ABOUT HULK HOGAN'S DEATH, reads the headline.
Per FOX 13, family and friends of Hulk Hogan, a Tampa native, will gather to pay respects to the former wrestler at a private funeral service in Clearwater, Florida, on Tuesday.
