Hudson was photographed over the weekend in Chapel Hill wearing a T-shirt from Orchids of Asia Day Spa, the Florida massage parlor at the center of Kraft’s widely publicized 2019 prostitution sting. The moment stood out even more given that Hudson was with Belichick, marking their first public appearance together since the longtime coach was passed over by the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Kraft was charged in 2019 after authorities conducted a prostitution investigation at the Jupiter spa. Although the charges were ultimately dismissed, the case became a national spectacle and an uncomfortable chapter in the billionaire owner’s public image.
Hudson’s wardrobe choice appeared anything but random, especially in light of Belichick’s strained history with Kraft following the former’s exit from the New England Patriots. After the split, tension between the two played out publicly, with Kraft suggesting he took a major gamble by hiring Belichick years earlier, and Belichick later pushing back with pointed remarks about ownership influence during his tenure.
Those familiar with Hudson’s public appearances say she has increasingly used fashion as a form of messaging, and this outing only reinforced that reputation.
