The Las Vegas Aces are keeping A'ja Wilson, their franchise cornerstone, in place.

The team announced on Friday that it has re-signed Wilson, the four-time WNBA MVP who has been central to the Aces' recent dominance, to a three-year, $5 million supermax fully guaranteed contract. With her return, Las Vegas retains the overwhelming majority of its offensive production from last year, reinforcing its status as a title contender heading into 2026.

Team president and general manager Nikki Fargas praised Wilson's impact both on and off the court, describing her as a foundational figure who has elevated the organization to new heights while continuing to set the standard across the league.

“A’ja is truly one of one, who has led this franchise to where it is today,” Fargas said in a statement. “Not only has she catapulted into the history books and surpassed almost every record in existence, but she does so with the utmost confidence, authenticity and grace. We look forward to continuing to see her thrive in an Aces uniform.”

Wilson, who kept her reaction brief with a confident "YKWTFGO," is coming off one of the most decorated seasons in WNBA history. In 2025, she accomplished a rare sweep of accolades, earning MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and Finals MVP while also leading the league in scoring.

Along with four MVP awards, Wilson is a multi-time champion, Finals MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year, in addition to numerous All-Star and All-WNBA selections. Her consistent production and two-way dominance have made her one of the defining players of her era.

On the court, her numbers remain just as dominant. Wilson averaged over 23 points and 10 rebounds during the 2025 regular season, then elevated her play in the postseason, guiding the Aces through another championship run. During a historic 16-game winning streak to close the year, she posted even more impressive averages, underscoring her ability to lead in high-pressure moments.

Beyond the accolades, Wilson has already climbed multiple all-time statistical leaderboards despite playing fewer games than many of her peers, highlighting both her efficiency and longevity at an elite level.

Since being selected No. 1 overall in 2018, Wilson has spent her entire career in Las Vegas, developing into the face of the franchise and one of the most impactful players in league history. Her return ensures continuity for a team that has become the standard in the WNBA.
