After this Monday's Raw, the complete SummerSlam card is set. Lesnar's kicked in the balls, Cena's talking tough, and the WWE is set to light Brooklyn on fire. Party done, right?
Not so fast. We still have a Smackdown show to get through. It's not as exciting as this Monday's Raw, primarily because the stage for the next PPV is set, but these things need to happen. And reports say the main event was "hot," or as hot as an eight-man tag match can be.
Here are the spoilers for this week's edition of Smackdown, from Green Bay, Wisconsin:
- Ryback and The Big Show's match ended in a double count out after Ryback knocked Big Show through a barricade.
- The New Day beat Los Matadores and El Torito.
- Dolph Ziggler and Lana were joined by Rusev and Summer Rae for an interview segment.
- Neville beat Bo Dallas.
- Stardust and King Barrett did an interview for their SummerSlam match.
- Team Bella were interupted by Team B.A.D. and Becky Lynch & Charlotte of PCB during an interview.
- Brie Bella defeated Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a three-way match.
- Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Cesaro beat Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Sheamus, and Kevin Owens in the main event.
