UPDATED 11/7/17 9:15 p.m. ET: LiAngelo Ball and his UCLA teammates seem to be in a considerable amount of trouble, Yahoo Sports Reports. The trio might be facing 3-10 years in prison. There is also a possibility that they will be held for up to one month without the chance of bail as they wait for prosecutors to decide if they will charge them. The Yahoo report quotes authorities as saying that the three college basketball players were caught shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store close to their hotel outside of Shanghai. We will update as more information becomes available.

While LiAngelo Ball's current claim to fame is being a UCLA guard who also happens to be the middle son in the Ball Family, he might also be wearing the title of "thief."

According to a report from ESPN, Ball was one of three UCLA men's basketball players who were arrested in China on Tuesday for shoplifting. Ball, who is a freshman at UCLA, was taken in with two other freshman on the UCLA squad: Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.

The arrest came days before UCLA's season-opener against Georgia Tech in China that is scheduled for this Friday.

As of now, there's no word on what Ball and his teammates were said to have been shoplifting, so it's hard to tell what kind of time Ball could be looking at if he's been convicted of shoplifting. Either way, the jokes about his predicament are already flying.

One guy seems to have it all figured out.
