It's been a long time coming.

In yet another stunning NCAA game, No. 11 seed Loyola beat No. 9 seed Kansas State on Saturday, which means that they will be moving on to the Final Four. The final score for the game was 78-62. This marks the first time the Ramblers have made it to the Final Four since 1963. The last time Kansas State appeared in the Final Four was 1964.

Loyola-Chicago is only the fourth 11-seed team that has found their way to the Final Four. The Washington Post has called the success of Loyola as being "one of the biggest Cinderellas in NCAA tournament history." Loyola's Ben Richardson made a career-high 23 points during the game, including six three-pointers. The 1963 Loyola team is the only Illinois team that has ever won a national title in basketball.
