Aside from being arguably the greatest NBA player of all-time, LeBron James may also be the funniest athlete ever, thanks to his endless amount of memorable viral moments.
While playing in the NBA bubble in 2020, a mic'd up James was seen delivering an impassioned plea to the referees that the Los Angeles Lakers were the team that should be in possession of the ball. Or, as LeBron succinctly put it, "It's our ball, ain't it? It's our ball! Hey! It's our ball!"
And with that, yet another viral moment was born.
The "Our Ball" moment is now commonly used with the prompt: "How do you say tree in Spanish?"
Nearly five years later, "Our Ball" continues to live on with Jack Black, who recreated the moment prior to Game 2 between the Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves last night. Black also put his own little twist by mentioning LeBron's teammate Rui Hachimura.
Hachimura was not playing for the Lakers when that moment took place.
