Tyreek Hill Explains Meaning Behind 'Time for Me to Go Coach' Message

There was speculation that Hill wanted out of Miami or the NFL.

Tyreek Hill remains committed to the Miami Dolphins for the foreseeable future.

Hill sparked concerns about his desire to stay with the team after he recently posted, "It's time for me to go coach" on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday. However, it turns out he meant what he said but not in the way it was widely interpreted.

"I'm in a great situation. I love the guys here. I love this organization," Hill told reporters. "They obviously changed me and my family's life forever. I'm in a great spot, man. I'm happy."

He continued, "I wish we were playing better ball, but at the end of the day, I feel like when I tweet something, it's not always about football."

Hill explained that the post was in response to finding out about Teddy Bridgewater and Michael Vick pursuing coaching careers. Bridgewater led his alma mater Miami Northwestern high school to a state title earlier this month, while Vick recently announced he was accepting the head coaching job at Norfolk State.

"You see guys like Teddy Bridgewater. You see guys like Michael Vick getting these head coaching jobs. It's like, bruh, I wanna be a coach also when I'm done playing," Hill explained. "That's all I meant by that."

The 30-year-old previously joked he wants to go into the adult film industry after he retires. Wonder if coaching is a higher priority on his post-NFL ambitions.
