On Wednesday, Abby Wambach will take the field for the final time when the U.S. Women's National Team takes on China in New Orleans, La. Wambach will put an end to a career which includes 255 international caps, a record 184 goals, two Olympic gold medals and a World Cup trophy. It has been an impressive run for Abby and it's one which President Barack Obama thinks is deserving of a G.O.A.T. title.
Earlier today, Obama sent a message to Wambach through his Twitter account and anointed her as the greatest of all time.
Congrats on an amazing career, Abby.
