The objective was simple. With a victory over their division rival Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys could clinch the NFC East and secure a playoff spot with an 8-7 record. Even against a depleted Eagles roster, the Cowboys couldn't score a single touchdown in their 17-9 loss, and now people believe once again it's time to let go of head coach Jason Garrett.

Garrett has one more chance to keep his job. With a win over Washington and an Eagles loss against the Giants next week, the Cowboys can sneak into playoffs, and possibly make some noise. But that all seems like a hope and a prayer at this point.
