Kobe Bryant is playing his final game in Charlotte on Monday. It's the place Bryant could've called home if the Hornets didn't trade him to the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1996 NBA Draft. This is also the organization which calls Michael Jordan their owner. MJ is the same player Kobe clearly modeled his own game and style after. The connections between these two players can go on and on.
Prior to tonight's Hornets/Lakers game, Jordan delivered a heartfelt message to Bryant in the Hornets' video tribute, referring to him as a "little brother," revealing that he's a "big fan" of Kobe's game and admitting how he's "been a big help to the game of basketball."
