In an interview with the New York Daily News' Gary Myers, Michael Irvin reveals that the rumored gay slurs directed at Odell Beckham Jr. during Sunday's game against the Panthers isn't anything new for the Giants star receiver. According to Irvin, Beckham Jr. has been “dealing with it every week.”

Over the last three days, Irvin says he has spoken with Beckham Jr. on three separate occasions and during their conversations, OBJ confirmed that Carolina players were threatening him with a baseball bat, in addition to hurling gay slurs in his direction.

This past Sunday, this stuff finally got to Beckham Jr. and now he's paying the price. Hopefully, this is the last time. But also, the NFL should focus their attention on what OBJ goes through on a week-by-week basis.
