Petty LeBron is the best LeBron James. Steph Curry took home his second consecutive Most Valuable Player award Tuesday, becoming the first player in 61 years to unanimously win the trophy. Earlier today, James discussed the honor, congratulating Curry on his latest achievement while debating the true meaning of "Valuable" in MVP.
PerThe Associated Press:
So, if you're keeping track at home, LeBron isn't taking anything away from Curry's win but also thinks there's a difference between being the most "valuable" player and the best player in the league. Sure, 'Bron 'Bron. Sure. Is this LeBron's way of saying he believes he was the most valuable player in the league? Because the Cleveland Cavaliers star forward didn't even come in second in MVP voting, falling to third behind Curry and Kawhi Leonard.
James has a long history of taking subtle shots at anyone and everyone, whether he does it through social media or in interviews. This wouldn't be anything new for The King.
