LeBron James can confirm this fuckery won't go on for much longer.
While speaking with reporters after Los Angeles Lakers practice earlier today, on his 40th birthday, James discussed the possibility of retirement and what will influence his decision to call it quits.
The 2003 first overall pick made it clear that he has plenty left in the tank for years to come.
"It won't be because I can't play this game at a high level. It won't be because of that," he said. "'Cause, to be honest, if I really wanted to, I probably could play this game at a high level for about another—weird that I might say it—but about another five to seven years, if I wanted to."
James added, "But I'm not going to do that."
LeBron spoke about retirement last month, indicating his decision will ultimately come down to his ability to mentally keep up with the game of basketball.
"It's the mind," he said. "Wherever my mind is, is how the rest of my body is going to go, whatever the case may be. I’m not going to play that much longer, to be completely honest. One year, two years, whatever the case may be. I said the other night that I’m not playing until the wheels fall off. I’m not."
