LeBron James Praises New Cavs Teammates' 'Attention to Detail for First Time This Season'

LeBron James appears to toss some shade at his former Cavs teammates after his team's blowout victory over the Celtics.

Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' 121-99 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, LeBron James had nothing but good things to say about his new teammates in his post-game interview. "The attention to detail tonight was at an all-time high for the first time this season," James told Doris Burke. "We got some players that can go out and get their own, that's pretty smart, and they picked it up like they've been here all year."

While LeBron's comments were clearly praising the performances of George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, and Larry Nance Jr. in their first game in a Cavaliers jerseys, James has been known for tossing out subliminal messages. In this case, The King seemed to be taking a jab at the Cavs players who were dealt at the trade deadline, such as Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Derrick Rose, etc.

Even though the Cavaliers are in a good place after a blowout win against the Celtics, who have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, they shouldn't feel overly confident. In Thomas's debut with the Cavs, the team won in a blowout as well when Cleveland defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 127-110. Then it all fell apart.

No one should read too much into this Cavs victory, but you already know that everyone will.
